Overview
Fire alarm pull stations and/or fire strobes are obstructed.
Manually-operated fire alarm actuation devices (pull stations) and strobes must be unobstructed and easily identified. In Exhibit A, the warning strobe was blocked by items on top of the cabinets. In Exhibit B, a freezer was located in front of the pull station but the flashing strobe was visible. The pull station must be visible and be accessible. The intended area of coverage of the strobe must not be blocked.
