The challenge with getting this message to people is that they may dismiss it as common sense.

Here are a few "reminders" you can share with your friends and associates to avoid distractions that may limit what they hear or see:

  • When you are moving about your workplace, campus or the city please pay attention to your surroundings!
  • Stack the odds in your favor by avoiding accidents or not causing them in the first place.
  • Whether bicycling or driving a motor vehicle, "Just Drive."
  • Just Drive!

When we are walking, running, cycling, or driving we can all do a better job of reducing our distractions (phones, tablets, radios, etc.) en route to our destinations.  Remind your friends to avoid distractions that limit what they may hear or see.
